Situated on Dundas Street, the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town, Bourne Fine Art was established in 1978 by Patrick Bourne. The gallery specialises in paintings and sculpture from the 17th century to the present day.

We deal in an extensive and diverse range of artists, featuring important names from the key movements in Scottish art history. From early portraiture by artists such as Ramsay and Raeburn through to Scottish Impressionism, the Kirkcudbright School and significant Twentieth Century groups like the Colourists and Edinburgh School. Contemporary artists and sculptors are also represented, including John McLean, Charles Simpson, John Byrne and Emily Young.

Bourne Fine Art merged with The Fine Art Society of New Bond Street, London in 2004. Founded in 1876, The Fine Art Society is one of the world's oldest art galleries, specialising in British art and design from the 17th to the 21st century. Patrick Bourne has joined The Fine Art Society as Managing Director and Emily Walsh runs the Edinburgh gallery with the assistance of Athina Athanasiadou and Caledonia Armstrong.
