ACCESS AND USE

The hire period starts on the first day of hire and finishes on the last day of hire. Keys can be collected from Bourne Fine Art from Monday to Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 11am-2pm. The gallery is to be used for the purpose of exhibiting works of art only. If it is required for any other purpose, written approval must be given before the hire commences.

HIRE FEE

A 25% deposit is required upon booking the Gallery. This is not refundable. The remaining balance is payable at the start of the hire period. Bourne Fine Art reserves the right to charge interest on any balance outstanding beyond these terms. This will be applied at 4% above the base rate charged by the Royal Bank of Scotland at the time the balance becomes due.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the client’s responsibility to:
Organise own exhibitions. Hire is for the gallery space only plus services listed below.
Put out rubbish for collection on Monday and Thursday mornings. Bin bags are provided.
Ensure banners/advertising materials are not placed on the railings.
Ensure that the front door and gate are properly closed and locked and that the alarm system is set upon leaving. If there are any problems then a member of staff at Bourne Fine Art must be contacted.
Provide insurance cover for artwork and any equipment or possessions brought in to the gallery during the period of hire.
Pay for all telephone calls above the first £5 net of VAT which is gratis. This will be charged upon receipt of the bill from the call provider.

UPON DEPARTURE TO:

Empty and clean the fridge, remove any window lettering and posters from the poster display cabinet and dispose of any empty bottles. Ensure that hanging systems are not removed from the walls and that furniture, fittings, kitchen and other equipment remain as per the inventory upon entry. The gallery reserves the right to charge the client for any loss or damage incurred during their occupancy.
Ensure that holes made in the wall are filled in, sanded and repainted with the paint provided.
Ensure that the gallery is left in a clean and tidy state at the end of the hire period.
